Front cover design

Masthead of the NME logo in the top right in a bright colour with a bold font so the reader can clearly see the magazine name. By adding in another big name and announcing a massive tour, more people will be attracted to it due to the colours contrast in the big red circle, with yellow and white writing giving it a look of importance drawing readers to it.Large black and white image the takes up the full cover, giving it a gritty feel to it to reflect Jakes music and how he is looking directly at the camera for dramatic effect. Also the main image shows the main article will be looking at Jake and this is helped by his name being in big, bold red writing standing out and much as possible. The sell line underneath gives a brief idea of who he is by calling him “ enemy to the x factor” giving of an arrogant feel as he is better then that and is different to the modern artist. As well as it telling the reader about him hitting America with one of the biggest musicians in the world and him only being 18 adds to the arrogant but confident image as he is good enough to do
it.
