This was the first time
id used Photoshop so in the beginning I found this extremely hard as I had to
try out all the different tools in order to know what each of them done and how
each of them worked. Once I knew this it still was very difficult as I struggled
to use each tool effectively making a lot of mistakes and starting over quite a
bit as I couldn’t get the right effects, shapes etc. however, the more I used
Photoshop and the more times I used each tool I became more confident with
using it, this meant as I continued my work it started to become better quality
as I was learning to contrast and blend colours and brightness, as well as effectively
using shapes and text in the correct areas. also due to time managment i had to do a very basic design which i know is far from my best ability, but to ensure i got it done i did the basic concept so that i have it finished, but can always go back and improve after i become more familiar with photoshop. my contents page could have more detail and have more use of shapes, color contrast, brightness and shading but as i don't have a large knowledge of photoshop i could not achieve this. my front cover could contain better text as the sell lines font is quite boring, not exciting and piping out at the reader catching their eye. This is also the case for the text on my contents page. due to the colors on my contents i could of used a better coloured font or positioned it better. if i had known how to before completing my task i would have used an effect to blend a white side of the page where my text could go which blends into the picture as you move across.
